AnnotationThis circular will no longer apply in full, or in part from 1 April 2002. From 1 April 1998, health authorities are required to make available to the public, on request, reports following inspection of nursing homes registered under Part II of the Registered Homes Act 1984. The guidance covers the following: scope of open reporting; purpose of inspection reports; use of plain language; format of reports; dual registration; confidentiality; sensitive information; accuracy of reports; distribution; and costs.
