AnnotationIn this Australian study, the author used a survey method to investigate the impact of SeniorNet, an individualised computer learning system (ICLS) designed for older adults living in residential care. Participants increased their interest and confidence in using the computer through weekly participation in the programme; and most indicated that individualised learning and hands-on experience were helpful in developing their new skills. Physical disabilities and illness did not appear to affect the amount of computer use. (RH).
