AnnotationThis paper is one of a series which analyse data from the Care Homes Information Network's (CHIN) database and search requests made by London Borough placement officers. It analyses ethnicity data on client groups collected from homes, in the context of relevant population data. Findings cover mental health resources, homes for people with learning or physical disabilities, the ethnic origins of staff in homes, and languages spoken in homes. The information collected in this study and in previous research by CHIN points to limitations in existing provision for minority ethnic groups in London.
