Annotation | The percentage of aged people is rapidly rising in Korea, whereas the Korean tradition of supporting ageing parents is waning. In spite of the increased public responsibilities, public institutional facilities for older people are hardly developed. Although most older people still wish to live with their children, some recent surveys show that private nursing homes can be quite profitable in Korea. (RH). |
