Annotation | These Regulations, which came into force on the 1st of January 1993, give effect in Great Britain to the substantive provisions of Council Directive 90/269/EEC on the minimum health and safety requirements for the manual handling of loads where there is a risk particularly of back injuries to workers. These Regulations repeal a number of enactments and revoke a number of instruments. |
