Annotation | These Regulations, which came into force on the 1st of December 1994, amend the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 so that they give effect in Great Britain, in combination with certain provisions of the Trade Union Reform and Employment Rights Act 1993 to Articles 4 to 7 of Council Directive 92/85/EEC on the introduction of measures to encourage improvements in the safety and health at work of pregnant workers and workers who have recently given birth or are breastfeeding.
