Annotation | Of all the systems in the body, the immune system is probably the best understood, both in mechanistic terms and in the ways in which it changes during ageing. This paper summarises the nature of immunity and the aged immune response, before examining an area of study which is poorly understood: the effect of human ageing on cutaneous wound healing. (RH). |
