Annotation | The assessment and management of toxic confusional states, or delirium, is a common problem for healthcare professionals working with older people. The aim of the meeting was to focus on a specific case, and allow various members of the multidisciplinary team (a senior house officer, a ward sister, a consultant psychogeriatrician, a consultant clinical psychologist, and a social worker) to highlight the important messages and lessons learnt.
