Pages | pp 121-122 |

Annotation | There is a need for more rigorous evaluation of existing services for Alzheimer's disease (AD), e.g. specialised day care and respite care. This article specifically concerns US rural caregivers' service needs. Accessibility and availability of diagnostic services, and health, mental health and social services - including counselling - need to be improved. The author calls for further investigation of such problems. (RH). |
