Section one provides an introduction to all the aspects of the quality management system, in terms of policies, objectives and structures, and how Methodist Homes attempt to meet those requirements. In section two, the core principles which underpin the care are defined followed by suggestions of how they can be put into practice within the care settings. The core principles are: privacy; dignity; independence; choice; rights; fulfilment; and spirituality.
