Annotation | A user wishing to measure quality of life (QOL) must choose what is included in QOL. The author suggests his four-sector model (A multidimensional view of quality of life, 1991) for guidance. This comprises two objective components (behavioural competence and environmental quality), and two subjective components (domain-specific perceived QOL and general psychological well-being). A number of instruments are suggested for each specific component. (RH). |
