Annotation | This article explores the implications of Aricept (donepezil) and future treatments for dementia. It explains who should be able to receive Aricept and the benefits and limitations of taking it; and how current health and social policy may affect its availability. Questions surrounding moral and ethical issues - regarding the ongoing distribution, monitoring and termination of the prescription - which have yet to be answered, are also explored. |
