Annotation | This study examines age differences in stages of attributional processing by using an attributional processing approach. The influence of different stages of attributional processing helps to explain previous findings that older adults tend to hold individuals more responsible for negative outcomes in relationship situations than younger adults. The secondary goal of the present study was to gather evidence for a relationship between dispositional attributions and content-evoked schemas. |
