Annotation | This report looks at current issues on the resourcing of the local voluntary sector. Three local studies were undertaken in Coventry, Stockport and the London Borough of Southwark, for which researchers interviewed relevant local authority officers and representatives of the voluntary sector. The report concludes that with the changing environment in which voluntary organisations operate, they will need to demonstrate that the higher quality of the contribution has a value for which others will wish to pay.
