Annotation | This article describes the creation and functioning of a grandparent discussion/support group which met monthly for eight years at a suburban community college in Illinois. This group was formed in response to requests from grandparents and dealt with multigenerational issues. Descriptions of the meeting format and examples of the problems and solutions that were discussed are given. Conclusions and recommendations resulting from the experience of leading this group are described. |
