AnnotationSince the 1960s, there has been a sharp decline in the number of economically active workers aged 50 and over. This seminar brought together people who see demographic change as an opportunity to examine the business case for the older worker. Studies presented dispel the myths and stereotypical images usually associated with older workers. Case studies demonstrate the practical business benefits brought by older workers to a range of businesses: the Nationwide Building Society, Glaxo, W H Smith, and B & Q.
