AnnotationA description of the EPICS project in Marlow - based around a day hospital attached to a community hospital - which developed after the first phase of EPICS. Includes a survey of local practitioners and agencies and the effect of the project on integration. Technology and cost monitoring is an important element. There are three reports in this compilation. The first, dated November 1995, is a brief summary. The second - dated September 1995 - sets out the national context, the project, the management structure, and development plan. Appendices to this report comprise: analysis of referrals; protocols for response to referrals; a user survey; and a questionnaire for users. An earlier report, at the stage when it was a pilot scheme for the South Buckinghamshire NHS in 1994, comprises the final part of this compilation. This sets out its objectives, achievements, and general context; it also presents a business plan. [RHb] [EPICS collection].
