AnnotationThe aim of this project, carried out in the early stages of the Elderly People's Integrated Care System (EPICS) programme was to identify integrated multidisciplinary health and social care schemes operating from multi-purpose centres, and to identify factors perceived to be relevant to the development of EPICS. The paper describes the centres visited, including a mental health project, a day centre, and a hospital day unit, and presents tabulations of the key features. [EPICS collection].
