| Annotation | This article describes a joint project between the Department of Housing and Social Services in London Borough of Merton and the Department of Public Health in Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth Health Authority. The aim of the project was to describe the health, social care and housing needs of the borough's residents with estimates for the next 10 years. The article sets out the background and methodology to the project, and describes some of the sources of information that were used. It concludes with a brief discussion of the issues that the work raised for the local authority, and how those issues are being tackled. |
