| Annotation | This report brings together papers presented at a conference, Putting Older People in the Picture, hosted by Anchor at the University of York in April 1997, with the support of the Housing Corporation. The aims of the conference were to bring older people more actively into the research debate; to examine ways of communicating and disseminating research findings to the media; and to present a range of views on the future direction of research with older people from different perspectives, and to present recent research findings. Specific topics covered include: older people as researchers; involving older people in the research process; attitudes and behaviour towards long-term care finance; and the ageing of property owning democracy. |
