Annotation | Better Government for Older People (BGOP) is a research programme that will, for the first time, mean that services for older people can be planned strategically across central and local government, the private and voluntary sectors, and community organisations. This article outlines the programme's aims, and the agreements to which proposed pilot schemes led by local authorities will work. The author looks at what the programme will mean for the voluntary sector. |
