Annotation | This is the fifth of six independent study units for staff working directly with older people with learning difficulties. It describes the sort of help which can be given to enable older people with a learning disability to participate in a range of leisure activities, and emphasises the importance of helping them to choose activities which suit their interests and abilities. At various points, activities and points for practice are introduced, as part of the process of independent study. |
