| Annotation | Regulatory fees are payable by care homes registered under the provisions of the Registered Homes Act 1984. The Government intends to increase the fees payable for the regulation of independent residential care homes and nursing homes. The consultation document and letter seek comments on the proposed increases from organisation most affected: independent residential care home and nursing home providers, and local and health authorities who are responsible for regulation. |
