AnnotationAt a time in life when loss and isolation threaten quality of life, older people need meaningful activities to pass on values and history than can connect generations. This article outlines the work of Elders Share the Arts (ESTA), which offers older Americans a comprehensive life review programme. ESTA comprises: living history arts activities; intergenerational projects; presenting groups such as the "Pearls of Wisdom" story-tellers and Discoveries artists; and the Arts and Aging Training Center.
