Annotation | The addition of a Service Co-ordinator to housing projects in 12 US states and Puerto Rico managed by the National Council of Senior Citizens Housing Management Corporation (NCSC HMC) has resulted in earlier identification of at-risk and frail residents, more timely provision of services, and new programmes for the projects. Most of the residents surveyed reported that their quality of life had been enhanced, and that they are living more comfortably and for longer in their own homes. (RH). |
