Annotation | This poem - which conveys a message of comfort, hope and renewal - by an unknown author, was left by a soldier killed in Ulster 'to all my beloved ones', and read out at his funeral. It was subsequently read by the soldier's father on the BBC TV programme Bookworm, on Remembrance Sunday 1995, and provoked many requests for copies. This special edition is intended as a lasting keepsake for those mourning a loved one. |
