Annotation | When looking after someone with dementia, it is important to take particular care that he or she does not develop pressure sores. Older people who are not very mobile are particularly vulnerable. Pressure sores are usually easy to treat at an early stage, but if left untreated they will get worse and can be dangerous. This advice sheet outlines precautions and treatment. |
