Annotation | Food, its preparation and delivery, is a litmus test of quality in residential and nursing homes. If a home is getting meals and mealtimes right, then it is likely to be getting other things right as well. Choice and the importance of catering for minority tastes are among the issues which will be part of a nationwide campaign on meals and mealtimes, organised by Counsel and Care, following on from its study on good practice, "Appetite for life" (1997).
