Annotation | A pre-test, treatment, post-test design was used to study the effect of day treatment on a measure of depression and a measure of global functioning in a group of clients aged 60+ at a community mental health centre in a rural area of Georgia, US. Results were analysed using a t-test, showing statistically significant differences for before and after treatment groups, and were compared with the results of similar studies in the literature.
