Annotation | Online information services are increasingly monitoring the activities of consumers in their use of Web-based Internet services and electronic mail. Older people who are online may be vulnerable to violations of privacy and security. Those of us who are interested in developing and promoting online information services to help meet their needs must bear this in mind, and make the use of these services safer as well as helpful. A selection of relevant United States Internet resources is listed. |
