AnnotationThe purpose of the Black Carers Conference , organised by the Black Carers Project in Bristol, was to bring together carers and organisations from the black and ethnic communities to share information and experiences, and to directly question those in authority on provision for their needs. This report contains the papers presented at the conference, and the reports from the Asian, African-Caribbean, Chinese and general Black carers workshops. Recommendations regarding the policy and information needs, and direct support needs of black carers are outlined. A list of groups, centres and associations of interest to black carers in Bristol is included.
