AnnotationIn recent years, the subject of epilepsy in older people has started to attract attention in geriatric neurology. This article describes the different types and features of epilepsy in older people, looks at the role of electroencephalography (EEG) and neuroimaging in investigating the condition, and outlines the various treatment options, including anti-epileptic drugs. It concludes with suggestions for further research.
