AnnotationThe individual's right to choose is a widely recognised principle, however, choice will only be of value if it is an informed choice. This article looks at how to obtain legal advice and information from outside agencies, such as Citizens Advice Bureaux, law centres, local voluntary advice agencies, charities, local authority based services, public bodies, trade unions, private non-solicitor organisations, and solicitors. Advice on how to find a solicitor is also included.
