| Annotation | This briefing summarises recent research by the CPA (Centre for Policy on Ageing) on the theme of leisure. In September 1995, the CPA was commissioned by a borough council in the Home Counties to review its leisure activities and services for the over 50s, to provide information and analysis on which to base longer term decisions. In 1995, CPA was commissioned by a London Borough council to provide a detailed report on the leisure needs and opportunities for older people. The objectives of this research are outlined, the results of which are forthcoming in Spring 1998. |
