Annotation | Creativity is not a timebound act nor a function of chronological age. Many older individuals engage in the creative process, and creative acts can help put into place the meaning of life and the meaning of ageing. Older people participating in the arts have experienced well-being and life satisfaction. This article discusses the role of creativity in older people's lives, strategies for nurturing creativity, and training programmes in creativity for older people. |
