AnnotationAge Concern presents a graph representing the Department of Health (DoH) Renal review findings. The incidence of chronic kidney failure rises steeply with age, yet the number of older people being accepted onto treatment programmes - dialysis or transplant - is low compared to the high level of renal failure in the older population. Differences of acceptance rates for treatment for those aged under 60 were not significant.
