Annotation | Day hospitals should be seen as part of a local day-care provision involving health boards, social work departments and the voluntary sector. This report presents the issues and recommendations of an interdisciplinary working group of the two Scottish Royal Colleges of Physicians and the Scottish Branch of the British Geriatrics Society, on the themes of: purchasing; functions; policies; staffing; communication; transport; audit and quality; and special needs of rural day hospitals. |
