Annotation | In this study of 505 healthy elderly Dutch people aged over 65, fear of the side-effects of influenza vaccination and perceived good health seem to be the main factors leading to non-compliance. The authors suggest that better and more specific information should be provided about the absence of side-effects of the vaccine, about its efficacy, and any dangers of complication, when patients are called for vaccination. |
