Annotation | The Cochrane Collaboration is an international network which was set up in 1993 to prepare, maintain and ensure accessibility of systematic reviews in all areas of health care so that existing medical information can be used more effectively. The Field in Health Care of Older People is one of the newest groups registered with the Collaboration. It aims to organise and disseminate current knowledge on the health care of older people, and to identify gaps in knowledge. This article outlines the major activities of the Field, and the rationale for the activities. |
