Author(s)Judy Clarke

KeywordsDeath ; Bereavement ; Sheltered housing ; Wardens.
AnnotationOne of the most common aspects of a sheltered housing warden's job is dealing with residents and their families following the death of a spouse, sibling, parent or child. The demands made on a warden at the time of bereavement can be enormous and very difficult to analyse. The author has often questioned her ability to cope with a situation, where the warden must play some sort of 'role', if required to do so.
