AnnotationThis book contains the proceedings from the 'UNESCO youth day for human rights', which was devoted to the deliberations of younger people on the problems of ageing and the rights of older people. The main topics discussed during the day were: the role of younger people in reintegrating older people in society; and acceptance of the ageing process. Results from two small questionnaire surveys are also presented: a survey on the attitudes of thirty older people in France on culture and information, science, and education; and a survey on the economic circumstances, emotional life, cultural and professional life of 15 Spanish older people. Both surveys were carried out by students.
