Annotation | A new kind of occupational therapy service is described where a combination of standardised cognitive and functional tests determine a baseline of ability; and occupational therapy enables each individual potential for function to be discovered and maximised. This article assesses the first twelve months of this new service at Gosport War Memorial Hospital's assessment unit for people with moderate to severe dementia. |
