Annotation | Consumer satisfaction is a significant measure of the quality of service provision. However, little information is available on consumer satisfaction for individuals with developmental disabilities. Information that is available may paint an overly optimistic view of the service system. Reasons for the tendency of service recipients to report high levels of satisfaction are presented. Suggestions for obtaining meaningful consumer satisfaction data are discussed. |
