| Annotation | The authors used data from a sub-study of married adults (age 55-89) who participated in the NESTOR (Netherlands Programme for Research on Ageing) survey on 'Living arrangements and social networks of older people' in 1992, and had subsequently been bereaved. Information on changes in the size and composition of their networks, the frequency of contact, and social support are outlined. |
