Annotation | Most direct-care workers understand the need for providing a choice of leisure activities for the people for whom they care. They may be often at a loss for new ideas, or for catering for smaller groups or individual activities. This workshop training pack emphasises the importance of planning activities to meet individuals' needs. Participants are encourage to share their ideas for individual and group leisure activities. A range of activities is suggested, and participants are guided through the process of running an activity. Therapeutic activities - including reality orientation and reminiscence therapy - are outlined. |
