Annotation | This statistical paper presents information on the social and economic circumstances of people in the Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi ethnic groups who were identified by the 1991 Census of population as living within Great Britain. It compares their situation with that of the white population for: demographic patterns; geographical distribution; households, family structure and housing characteristics; differentials in health; economic activity, employment and unemployment; and participation in further and higher education. |
