AnnotationThis paper presents a preliminary analysis of data collected during a national survey of attitudes and beliefs about long-term care in old age among men and women aged 25 to 70, by Social and Community Planning Research (SCPR) working in conjunction with the Nuffield Community Care Studies Unit (NCCSU). Issues such as pensions, health care, and social care needs of older people were found to be of interest and concern to younger people as well as those approaching retirement. The paper includes the questionnaire and tables of results.
