AnnotationThis report presents findings regarding the quality of 1991 Census data (i.e. the accuracy of the information recorded about the people and households who were successfully enumerated). It provides an audit of how well the census questions worked, with some analysis of the reasons why errors occurred. Attention is paid to newly introduced questions - on ethnic group, and on limiting long term illness - as well as to long-established questions on occupation, where answers given or codes assigned may have been a matter of interpretation.
