Annotation | This report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of poor housing conditions in the United Kingdom and to examine progress in dealing with these problems. It draws together data from four national housing surveys, although in doing so, it points to variation in measurements which make comparability difficult. 'The state of UK housing' examines housing renewal policies over the last 20-30 years, including: demolition; renovation of the private stock; social sector renewal; area based improvement; group repair; energy conservation; and housing adaptation. |
