AnnotationThis study's objectives were to compile a detailed statistical study of the circumstances of older Australians, particularly with regard to the housing situation, based on the main data sources; and to use this information to identify target groups of older Australians either in housing need or constrained in their housing choices. While today's Australians are generally well-housed, the same housing outcomes and circumstances cannot be assumed in the future, given shifts in the needs and demands of smaller households.
